深山隱土還是蓋世高人？究竟這位電影巨匠是一個怎麼樣的人？他拍電影時又是甚麼模樣？他，莫非就是傳媒眼中的寇比力克？《Stanley Kubrick: A Life in Pictures》是寇比力克多年助手兼大舅Jan Harlan執導的紀錄片，邀來他的朋友和同僚，再加插珍貴片段，從多角度去看看這位已故的電影大師。
Stanley Kubrick is one of the most controversial directors in contemporary film history. Rumors and tidbits are endlessly available to satisfy the insatiable media and audiences. But then, what is the real Kubrick like? How true is the knowledge surrounding him? Jan Harlan, the brother-in-law and assistant of Kubrick, turns the camera to his friends, colleagues and relatives, offering us a throughout account on the life and career of this late director.
